Experience

There will be many opportunities to worship, pray, play, and fellowship - including services with our guest ministers and activities for all ages.

Conference Schedule

This is an indicative schedule of what to expect from the Homeward experience. This will be adjusted closer to the event, and a final schedule will be provided to confirmed attendees.

For the Adults

We know adults also like to have fun, so our staff (and the resort staff) host activities throughout the day. Organized activities are designed to foster meaningful connections with other attendees and make fun memories in a casual setting! From fitness classes to painting sessions to games and sports, there’s something for everyone.

For the Kids

As a part of our conference programming, we hope to create an environment where the children of our conference attendees can form meaningful friendships.

Early Childhood
For children ages 4 & under, we will provide childcare during conference sessions if the child is able to walk on their own, eat on their own, and separate peacefully from parents at drop-off.

Primary Childhood
For children ages 5-8, we will provide supervised free play both outdoors - in the pool & at the beach - and indoors. Age-appropriate artistic and athletic activities will be scheduled, along with plenty of opportunities to snack.

Advanced Childhood
For children ages 9-12, we’ll have a variety of scheduled activities - everything from coloring and arts & crafts, to swimming and free play. Children will have more freedom to socialize with peers and move around the resort among various activities with staff supervision.

Teenagers
For your teens, we’ll have coordinated group activities, including beach volleyball, movie night, and more. Additionally, teenagers will be expected to join in some of the conference sessions.

FAQs

Who will be speaking? Who will be leading worship?

To avoid excessive focus on our ministry guests, we will not announce guests for this event in advance. However, guest speakers will include iconic pioneers of modern missions and church building.

I have not attended before and do not know anyone else who will be coming. Is there anything a first-time guest should know?

We expect most of our guests for this program to be first-time attendees, and many of them will be in a similar situation. Most other guests will also be meeting the vast majority of fellow attendees for the first time.

We have prepared Homeward as a mix of conference, fellowship, and family time. Guests are expected to attend the conference, but we also offer a range of additional optional activities - usually to small groups on a sign-up basis, so that you have plenty of opportunities to reconnect with old friends and make new ones.
